Focus
Shipping Quill's developer experience, an auth sidecar and a small k3s homelab.
Shipping right now
- Quill by MapleSpike — Live Canadian public-sector data for AI agents and developers, every answer sourced. Next: better docs and an MCP quickstart.
- Astral Key — Rust auth sidecar with passkeys, wallet login and JWT sessions, becoming single sign-on for my services.
- Trading system — Building a trading system: paper trading only right now.
- k3s homelab — A small k3s homelab, declared in git and reconciled by Argo CD, with a small fleet of AI agents helping run it.
The long version of each project, with phases and links, is on Craft.
What I take on
- Self-hosted AI
- Local models on your hardware, an OpenAI-shaped endpoint in front of them, retrieval and MCP tooling so agents operate real services.
- Private infrastructure
- k3s and Argo CD from git: media, data services, monitoring and backups you can read and roll back.
- Backend and front end
- Rust and TypeScript services, auth, and Astro or React surfaces that ship as static files.

The personal site carries the rest: the essays, the albums, what I am working on, and the record of what the stack costs. This page is the work half only.
