Quill by MapleSpike
ACTIVECanada's public-sector data pipeline. The portal reports 207 data modules, 184 MCP tools and 13 jurisdictions; the API and MCP server run on the homelab cluster.
- Goal
- Serve Canada's public-sector record — committee transcripts, lobbying registries, procurement records, departmental publications — as an API and an MCP server instead of a shelf of PDFs.
- What I delegated
- The ingest and normalisation pipeline, the REST surface and the MCP tool layer, worked in TypeScript against Redis and SQLite.
- My role
- I decide what the public portal exposes and I keep the review and the merge. The source stays private; the service is public.
- Outcome
- 207 data modules, 184 MCP tools and 13 jurisdictions live at quill.maplespike.ca.
